Complex Site Structures

What is a complex Site Structure relative to HREFLang?

We would define a complex structure as any site where the set up is other than a single domain with uniform country or language folders. Some examples of complexity:

Combinations of formats for country or language on the sites

www.mysite.com/en/

www.mysite.com/en/uk/

www.mysite.com/fr/france/

Combinations of Domains and Language Folders

www.mysite.com/en/us

www.myuksite.co.uk

www.mysite.ca/fr/

www.mysite.ca/en/

Another common challenge is the blend of localized folders and non-localized.  Mapping these can be a challenge.

We have been working on HREFLang XML implementations since ti was first launched and we have seen some almost unimaginable structures.  We have accounted for over 500 of these natively into the set up of the tool.  If you have the 501’st of these please contact us to help with that challenge.
